What Customers Say About Dish Network Dual Tuner Satellite Receiver:

This receiver lets you see different channels in two separate TVs and does'nt costmore with the provider (in this case DishNetwork)($5.00 if you ar'nt connected tothe phone) the second TV can be in a separate room and you control the receiver fromthere without interfering with the other TV program

The problem was the software in the receiver would not upgrade. The receiver was what I wanted.one that would control 2 TVs. I had to call Dish and have them send a replacement.

2 output is mono. but on the product description it says it Great Reception, but on the T.V. not STEREO.

If someone can offer me an Energy Star receiver I'll likely take them up on it. I tend to unplug things a lot now, so watching the Dish 322 reacquire the sat signals is one of life's little annoyances. Unplugging for a few minutes usually cures this. When electrical power returns after an outage, or if the unit has been unplugged (see above), the receiver needs to reacquire satellite signals. It's located downstairs and controls TVs in the livingroom and in our upstairs bedroom. This is fairly high tech stuff and sometimes it seems to get a little confused. I don't like to leave everything plugged in all the time, especially since electrical storms can cause problems where I live.

We switched to Dish in the first place because a storm knocked out our DirecTv dish---and they wanted hundreds just to come out and look at it. The signal between the receiver and the upstairs radio remote is good. The receiver hiccups from time to time, and that's about as specific as I can be. It can take up to 10 minutes. Dish replaced the radio remote when it failed after about 1.5 years for free. We've been using the 322 for about 3 years and generally speaking it has served well.

The remotes are nicely laid out. This receiver is definitely not "green." It draws about 30 watts even when it's "off." Unplugging it when not in use invokes the reacquisition process when plugged in again.

it took a little time to understand how it works with second tv but works great.
